Terms & Conditions

The basis on which we quote, produce and deliver — for buyers who need clarity before ordering.

Last updated: 2026-10-02

1. About these terms

These terms apply to your use of this website and to quotations and orders placed with vanven (梵莱文) unless a separate written agreement or sales contract applies.

In the event of a conflict, the terms on our quotation, proforma invoice or sales contract take precedence over this page.

2. Quotations and pricing

Prices are quoted per project and depend on specification, quantity, finish, hardware preparation and delivery terms.

Unless stated otherwise, quotations are on an FOB basis and exclude ocean freight, insurance, destination charges, customs clearance and duties.

Quotations are valid for the period stated on the quotation. Where material or freight costs change materially, we will advise before confirming an order.

3. Orders and payment

An order is confirmed when we have received your written approval of the specification and shop drawings, together with the deposit stated on the proforma invoice.

Production lead time begins from the later of deposit receipt and drawing approval.

4. Specifications and drawings

Shop drawings produced for your project must be reviewed and approved by you before production. Please check dimensions, quantities, swing direction, finish and hardware preparation carefully.

Once drawings are approved and production has started, changes may not be possible, or may incur additional cost and delay.

5. Samples and colour

Natural materials vary in grain and tone. Physical samples represent the specified finish; reasonable variation between the sample and production goods is inherent to wood-based products.

For project orders we lock a single batch and retain a colour record so that later phases can be matched as closely as possible.

6. Delivery, risk and title

Delivery terms are as stated on the quotation. Where goods are sold FOB, risk passes in accordance with the applicable Incoterm at the named port.

Title passes when payment has been received in full, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

7. Inspection and claims

Please inspect the goods on arrival and note any visible damage or shortage on the delivery receipt, with photographs.

Claims relating to visible damage or shortage should be notified promptly and, where possible, within the period required by your forwarder or insurer.

8. Warranty

Warranty terms are stated on the quotation or sales contract for each order. Warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect storage, installation, use, or exposure to conditions outside the product specification.

This does not affect any rights you have under applicable law.

9. Intellectual property

Drawings, photographs and content on this website remain the property of vanven and may not be reproduced commercially without permission.

Where we produce goods to your drawings or designs, you confirm that you have the right to use those designs.

10. Governing terms

These terms are governed by the laws of the People's Republic of China, unless a separate agreement states otherwise.

We may update these terms from time to time; the current version is always published on this page.
